This past week, brothers from the New York Iota Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon joined over a thousand undergraduate and alumni brothers from across the nation at the 59th Grand Chapter Conclave, held in Tampa, Florida. Conclave, which takes place every two years, is the Fraternity’s largest gathering and serves as both a celebration of SigEp brotherhood and a platform for shaping the organization’s future.
Representing NY Iota on the legislative floor was Vice President of Recruitment Nathan Errington, who served as our undergraduate delegate. Nathan took part in important legislative sessions, joining fellow student leaders to vote on national policies and programs that will guide the direction of the Fraternity in the years ahead.
Also in attendance were AVC President Sean Murphy ’16, Balanced Man Steward Glen Cherian ’17, and Patrick Farrell ’86. These dedicated alumni contributed to various leadership discussions, volunteer programming, and alumni-focused sessions throughout the week, ensuring that NY Iota remained an active and engaged voice in the larger SigEp community.
In addition to legislative business, the five-day event featured workshops, educational sessions, and networking opportunities that empowered attendees to bring new ideas and leadership strategies back to their chapters. From formal ceremonies to brotherhood-building activities, the energy in Tampa was a reminder of the strength and reach of Sigma Phi Epsilon nationwide.
We’re incredibly proud of our undergraduate and alumni brothers who represented NY Iota at this important event. Their presence and participation reaffirm our chapter’s commitment to the values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.
We’ll see you in Phoenix in 2027!
