Goin’ Bald for Bucks
On March 2nd, Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Gamma Phi will be teaming up for Bald for Bucks! As some of you know, we have hosted this event for many years. Dr. Virginia Horvath, the president of SUNY Fredonia, and Lisa Newell, the Director of Judicial Affairs, have raised nearly $1,500 so far! We will be snipping, clipping or shaving our hair to raise critically needed funds for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate, innovative patient-care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Cancer is a disease that touches everyone, and we are determined to make a difference. You can help us make a difference by supporting our team’s efforts in Goin’ Bald for Bucks.
If you are considering donating, click the link: http://bit.do/BaldForBucksSigEp
Please consider making a donation today. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than any one of us could accomplish alone. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives.
Balanced Man Program
As of Spring 2019, we have officially fully integrated the Balanced Man Program into our chapter! The Balanced Man Program is the centerpiece of the SigEp chapter experience and provides the experience that today’s student needs to be successful during and after college.
The program is founded on five philosophical tenets:
- Equal rights and responsibilities – Full membership upon joining
- Continuous development – Growing throughout life
- Accountability – Committing to SigEp’s high standards
- Living the Ritual – Incorporating SigEp’s values into everyday life
- Mentoring – Maximizing growth through guidance and support
